Job summary

BERJAYA PROPERTY BERHAD (Formerly known as Berjaya Land Berhad) is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage full-spectrum accounting tasks and assist in financial planning. The role requires preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports, maintaining records and supporting cash flow management.

You will liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Strong MS Excel skills and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Accounting job functions.
• Experience in hotel finance will be added advantage.
• Strong fundamental accounting knowledge and proficiency in MS Office particularly in Excel.
• Good communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Detailed-oriented, independent, and a good team player.
• Willing to travel outstation if require.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports including Balance Sheets and Cash flow.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, government bodies, suppliers and internal clients/other departments of the Berjaya Group of Companies.
• Keep accurate records for all daily transactions.
• Record accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Prepare financial forecasts/projections when required.
• Assist in the management of cash flow.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties when required.

Job description

To handle full set of accounts and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports includes Balance Sheets and Cash flow.

To liaise with the external parties such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, government bodies, suppliers as well as internal clients/other departments of the Berjaya Group of Companies.

Keep accurate records for all daily transactions.

Record accounts payable and accounts receivable.

To prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliation.

To prepare financial forecasts/projections when required.

To assist in the management of cash flow.

To perform any other ad hoc duties when required.
