Job summary

V Wellness, a part of the Ruyi Group, is seeking an Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, AR/AP, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing. The role requires a diploma/bachelor’s in accounting or related field, with at least one year of experience; fresh graduates are welcome. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and SQL accounting software is expected.

Bilingual ability in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred. This on-site position is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle daily accounting operations, including preparing invoices and issuing purchase orders (POs).

Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP), including processing payments and following up on outstanding balances.

Perform bank, supplier, customer and other account reconciliations.

Prepare accounting schedules and supporting documents for financial reporting.

Manage petty cash and assist with month-end closing activities.

Prepare payments and perform banking transactions in accordance with the company's approval procedures.

Assist in preparing monthly management reports and conducting financial analysis.

Ensure accurate accounting entries, proper documentation and systematic filing of financial records.

Provide support during annual audits and liaise with auditors when required.

Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Who We Are Looking For

Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or a recognised professional accounting qualification.

Have at least one year of relevant accounting experience, preferably in handling full-set accounts. Fresh Graduate is welcome to apply !

Have a good understanding of accounting principles and daily accounting operations.

Be able to work independently with minimal supervision, manage priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and SQL accounting software.

Have a good command of spoken and written English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia to communicate effectively with the stakeholders.

Possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Be responsible, meticulous, proactive and willing to learn.
