Job summary

Guhring (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an accounting professional to support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold internal controls. The role focuses on accurate financial processing in SAP, effective discrepancy resolution, and collaboration with the Accounts Manager across departments.

A relevant qualification and 2 years of experience are required. You will contribute to audit preparations, budgeting, and process improvements as part of career

Qualifications

• Min. advanced diploma or bachelor's in accounting/finance.
• Experience with SAP (S/4HANA or Business One) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Proficient in Excel for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting operations and monthly closing activities.
• Resolve vendor/customer discrepancies and credit control.
• Validate payment requests, expense claims, and journals with proper approvals.
• Execute and post financial transactions accurately within SAP.
• Flag discrepancies and policy non-compliance to the Accounts Manager.
• Assist year-end closing, management reporting and budgeting activities.
• Prepare audit schedules and reconciliations.
• Implement and enforce internal control policies and compliance.
