Job summary

Allianz Malaysia is seeking an experienced Finance professional to manage month-end close, intercompany activities, and asset accounting within SAP. You will support system implementations, drive process improvements, and liaise with auditors to resolve queries.

The role requires 5+ years in finance, strong English, and proficiency in SAP and MS Office. A focus on controls, automation, and stakeholder collaboration will be essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 5 years in related field; audit experience encouraged.
• Strong English (written and oral).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
• Good interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management.
• Finance transformation or automation experience is a plus.
• Experience with AI tools like ChatGPT is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely month end closing activities, month end journals posting, accruals, intercompany transactions and etc.
• Perform monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation; follow up on aged reconciliations/collections/payables; prepare analyses for Management Expenses and explain material variances.
• Review intercompany billings; ensure SLA compliance and e-Invoice readiness; ensure intercompany settlements within the group.
• Manage Fixed Asset Accounting including month-end closing and CAPEX vs budget.
• Maintain SAP Master Data and mappings; support data creation like COA, Cost Centre, WBS, etc.
• Liaise with auditors; respond to audit queries and resolve issues.
• Support system implementations, change requests; draft user requirements and assist UAT; run parallel tests comparing legacy vs new systems.
• Draft user requirements and assist UAT for new product postings.
