• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• A professional attitude with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and general ledger processes.
• Willingness to learn and develop accounting knowledge further.
• Previous experience in an accounting role or similar financial environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions in the accounting system with accuracy and proper categorisation.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and expense documentation.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and verify account statements.
• Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records and filing systems.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements under supervision.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Assist with payroll administration and related documentation.
• Perform general accounting duties such as data entry and ledger maintenance.
