Job summary

BGS Security Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an accounting professional to handle daily data entry, AR/AP, and ensure UBS accounting records are accurate and up-to-date. The role requires attention to detail and a solid grasp of financial processes.

Fresh graduates are welcome, with at least a diploma or degree in accounting or finance; familiarity with UBS and Excel is preferred, and you will work at Taman Impian Emas, Johor.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Preferably at least two years of relevant accounting experience. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with UBS accounting software is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
• Good numerical skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Responsible, organised and willing to learn, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
• Willing to work in Taman Impian Emas, Johor.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting data entry and assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in the UBS accounting system.
• Organise and maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other supporting documents.
• Assist with account reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
• Support other accounting and administrative tasks assigned by the supervisor or management.
• Candidates with the ability to handle a full set of accounts will have an added advantage.
