Job summary

Sam Gas Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a finance/accounts entry-level professional in Malaysia. The role involves data entry, maintaining accounting records, and supporting AP/AR processes, invoicing, vouchers, and document preparation.

You will assist with monthly reconciliations, financial reporting, and tax documentation, while handling general office and HR-related admin tasks. Fresh graduates are welcome, with a basic accounting foundation and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; accounting internship experience is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles is a must.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Proficiency in English and Malay; Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data entry and maintenance of accounting records.
• Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Assist in preparing invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Perform filing and organization of accounting documents.
• Assist in monthly account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Support audit and tax documentation preparation.
• Assist the finance team with ad-hoc accounting assignments.
• Provide general administrative support to daily office operations.
• Assist in scheduling meetings, coordinating appointments, and arranging travel when required.
• Handle correspondence, emails, and phone inquiries.
• Maintain office supplies and support office management activities.
• Assist with employee onboarding documentation and other HR-related administrative tasks when needed.
