Job summary

You will assist with invoices, payments, filing, data entry, and reconciliations, and maintain accurate records. A team-oriented mindset and attention to detail are essential. Basic Excel skills are required and you will grow with on‑the‑job training.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates and SPM school leavers are encouraged to apply.
• Assist in handling daily accounting and administrative tasks.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of SQL Accounting System is an advantage, training provided.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents and data.
• Willing to learn and able to work as part of a team.
• Carry out general clerical and administrative duties.
• Prepare simple reports and summaries as requested.

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling daily accounting and administrative tasks.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoices, payments, and collections.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment documents, and other accounting documents.
• Perform basic data entry and update accounting records accurately.
• Assist with bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliation.
• Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and accounting documents.
• Update and maintain accounting data in the SQL Accounting System.
• Assist in monitoring outstanding payments and following up with customers when required.
• Check accounting documents and records for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in maintaining sales, purchase, debtor, and creditor records.
• Prepare simple reports and summaries as requested by the superior.
• Compile, sort, and record daily business transactions.
• Perform general clerical and administrative duties.
• Carry out any other accounting or administrative duties assigned by the superior.
