Job summary

Mjaya Auto Sdn Bhd is seeking an accounting professional to handle daily AP/AR activities, issue invoices and payment documents, monitor customer payments, and process supplier payments with reconcilations. The role supports month-end close, audits, and statutory compliance within a dynamic automotive environment.

You will work to maintain accurate records, assist in inventory reconciliation, and liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, suppliers, and customers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience; automotive sector a plus.
• Familiarity with accounting software and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude, responsible, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily AP/AR operations.
• Prepare and issue invoices, debit/credit notes, and receipts.
• Monitor customer payments and follow up on outstanding debts.
• Process supplier payments and reconcile supplier statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain records.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and schedules.
• Assist in inventory and spare parts stock reconciliation.
• Assist in audit, tax, and statutory compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end closing.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, suppliers, and customers.
• Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned.
