Job summary

Timur Lube Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an organised accounting assistant in Malaysia to maintain accurate financial records and support monthly closings.

You will perform reconciling bank statements, managing AR/AP, and ensuring proper documentation. The role requires attention to detail and solid Excel skills to prepare reports for management. As part of the finance team, you will liaise with branches, assist with ad-hoc tasks, and contribute to a reliable financial close process that supports timely

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting or related field.
• 1 year experience in accounting/finance.
• Proficiency in Autocount and Excel.
• Strong analytical and attention to detail.
• Good English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliation on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR), including tracking collections and outstanding balances.
• Handle accounts payable (AP), including invoice processing and timely payments.
• Maintain a full set of accounts and ensure proper recording of all financial transactions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in monthly closing activities and ensure timely reporting.
• Monitor inventory records to ensure proper accounting and reconciliation (if applicable).
• Liaise with branch personnel on finance-related matters and provide necessary support.
• Assist in administrative and other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
