Job summary

PLATINUM CITY AUTO SDN BHD is seeking a diligent Accounts Assistant to manage financial records and support day-to-day accounting tasks in Sabah, Malaysia. You will process invoices, reconcile statements, prepare summaries, and assist with payroll as needed.

Ideal candidates will have attention to detail, experience with AP/AR processes, and the ability to communicate with vendors and internal teams while ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Familiarity with basic financial reporting and month-/year-end closing tasks.
• Data entry accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and databases.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
• Prepare basic financial reports and summaries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Handle data entry and ensure accuracy of financial information.
• Assist in payroll processing (if required).
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
