Qualifications

• Solid foundation in general accounting, including AP/AR, GL maintenance, and financial reporting.
• Familiar with accounting software and ERPs used in manufacturing; strong Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Malaysia taxation and compliance requirements.
• Analytical and numerical accuracy with data entry and reconciliation.
• Good communication and collaboration with production, purchasing, and management.
• Fluent in reading and speaking Chinese.
• Diploma/degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA/CPA is a plus.
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Role Description

The Accounting Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Johor, Malaysia. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, including handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing journal entries, maintaining general ledger records, and assisting with month-end closing. The Accounting Executive prepares financial reports, reconciles bank and account balances, monitors cash flow, and supports budgeting and cost control related to manufacturing operations. The role also involved ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies, coordinating with external auditors, and collaborating with operations and management to provide accurate financial information for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in general accounting, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing environments, as well as strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements applicable in Malaysia.
