Job summary

SMARTT PRECISION MFG PTE LTD in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking an Accounting Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities on site. The role covers AP/AR, journal entries, GL maintenance, and month-end closing, with preparation of financial reports and bank reconciliations to support cash flow, budgeting, and cost control for manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has solid accounting foundations, familiarity with ERP systems, strong Excel skills, and proficiency in Chinese.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in general accounting, including AP/AR, GL maintenance, and financial reporting.
• Familiar with accounting software and ERPs used in manufacturing; strong Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Malaysia taxation and compliance requirements.
• Analytical and numerical accuracy with data entry and reconciliation.
• Good communication and collaboration with production, purchasing, and management.
• Fluent in reading and speaking Chinese.
• Diploma/degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA/CPA is a plus.
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger records.
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Support budgeting and cost control for manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and management for financial information.
• Collaborate with operations to provide accurate financial data.
