Job summary

Crave World Trading Sdn Bhd is seeking a responsible Accounting and Admin Executive to manage daily accounting operations within our growing FMCG team. The role involves handling accounts receivable and payable, maintaining customer and supplier accounts, and ensuring timely financial records.

FMCG experience and familiarity with customer TTA terms are advantageous. The successful candidate will have 2+ years of accounting experience, proficiency in SQL Accounting and Excel, and strong

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• FMCG industry experience is preferred.
• Familiar with customer TTA and FMCG trading terms.
• Experience with AR/AP and deductions, rebates, credit notes, debit notes and RTV would be an advantage.
• Proficient in SQL Accounting and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily AR and AP transactions.
• Maintain and reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
• Verify payments, deductions, credit notes, debit notes and supporting documents.
• Review and process customer-related deductions according to trading terms.
• Prepare monthly aging reports and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closings.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, suppliers and customers as required.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Job description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounting and Admin Executive to join our growing FMCG team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling daily accounting operations, managing customer and supplier accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely financial records.

Candidates with FMCG industry experience and familiarity with customer TTA terms will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Maintain and reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
• Monitor customer outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
• Verify customer payments, deductions, credit notes, debit notes and related supporting documents.
• Review and process customer-related deductions according to agreed trading terms.
• Maintain proper records of customer TTA and ensure relevant deductions are properly recorded and supported.
• Liaise with customers, buyers and internal Sales teams regarding account discrepancies, deductions and payment matters.
• Assist in checking and reconciling customer statements, invoices, CN, DN, RTV, contra and other account-related documents.
• Assist in preparing monthly aging reports, account reconciliations and management reports.
• Ensure accounting transactions and supporting documents are properly maintained and recorded accurately.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, suppliers and customers when required.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Preferably with FMCG industry experience.
• Familiar with customer TTA (Trading Terms Agreement) and FMCG trading terms.
• Familiar with customer deductions, rebates, DC allowance, credit notes, debit notes, RTV and contra will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
• Experience with accounting software such as SQL Accounting will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Good analytical and reconciliation skills with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, organised and able to work independently.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
