OMNIGRID PVMAS SDN BHD is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions in Kajang, Malaysia. You will handle accounts payable and receivable, GL, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing, delivering accurate financial reporting.

You will monitor cash flow, assist with budgeting and audits, ensure compliance with MFRS/MPERS and the Companies Act 2016, and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers to maintain strong financial

• Experience handling end-to-end accounting and finance functions.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable/receivable, GL and reconciliations.
• Experience preparing management accounts and financial statements.
• Familiarity with Malaysian accounting standards and statutory filings.

Manage and oversee the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation and financial reporting.

Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial statements, cash flow projections and financial reports for management.

Monitor and manage company cash flow, payment schedules, collections and banking facilities to ensure healthy financial operations.

Oversee project accounting, construction costs, work-in-progress (WIP), progress billings, retention sums and project profitability.

Liaise closely with the Contract/QS and Project teams on project costs, payment claims, subcontractor payments and financial matters.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, subcontractor payments, staff claims and other financial transactions.

Manage taxation matters, including corporate income tax, SST, withholding tax and LHDN e-Invoicing compliance.

Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS/MPERS), Companies Act 2016 and applicable statutory regulations.

Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers and relevant government authorities.

Develop and improve accounting procedures, financial controls, reporting systems and internal policies.
