Job summary

Businesslist in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting functions, prepare financial statements, and provide analysis to support management decisions. This role requires a degree in accounting or finance and professional certification.

You will work with cross-functional teams, ensure tax compliance, and help implement improvements to accounting processes while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• FP&A and financial reporting experience is a must.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills.
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
