Job summary

UM Specialist Centre Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on financial reporting, management accounts, general ledger, audit and compliance within a healthcare setting.

You will prepare management accounts, supervise month-end closing, and coordinate audits while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting to support executive decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Membership with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) is compulsory.
• Preferably 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong experience in financial statements, management reporting, budgeting and audit.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly Management Accounts and financial reports.
• Manage General Ledger, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation and month-end closing.
