Klinik Medilove is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our growing finance team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time, office-based position.
As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to the overall financial health and growth of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice verification, payment processing, and collection follow-ups.
* Prepare and reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and other cash management activities.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
* Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyse variances, and provide explanatory notes.
* Manage payroll records and assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
* File tax returns and manage tax-related documentation in compliance with Malaysian regulatory obligations.
* Support internal and external audits by preparing and providing requested documentation and financial information.
* Maintain organised financial records and ensure proper documentation and filing systems are in place.
* Identify and flag discrepancies or irregularities in financial transactions for investigation and resolution.
* Liaise with suppliers, customers, banking institutions, auditors, tax agents, and other external stakeholders on financial matters.
* Support management with financial analysis and other finance-related matters as required.
What We’re Looking For
* Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an accounting, finance, audit, or related role within a small to medium-sized business or accounting practice.
* Prior experience with a Big Four (Big 4) accounting firm — Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG — is required, with strong exposure to audit, accounting, financial reporting, or related finance functions.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create spreadsheets and analyse financial data.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and financial reporting standards.
* Solid understanding of Malaysian tax regulations, payroll requirements, and accounting compliance standards.
* Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes is highly desirable.
* Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify financial discrepancies and irregularities.
* Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high organisational standards.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive financial information.
* Willingness to continuously develop and stay updated on accounting practices, financial regulations, and Malaysian tax requirements.
