Hunza Group is seeking a Senior Finance professional in Penang to oversee Group cash flow, treasury, and banking facilities. The role drives financial reporting, budgeting, and taxation compliance for the group across multiple entities.

You will lead group finance operations, collaborate with auditors, and ensure timely financial closes and accurate reporting to Bursa Malaysia and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA/MIA) would be an added advantage.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Finance/Accounting, with exposure to Group Finance, treasury and credit control.
• Strong knowledge of cash flow management, financial reporting, budgeting and accounting operations.

Description du poste

• Manage Group cash flow, collections, payments and funding requirements.
• Arrange and monitor banking facilities, including BG, BA and LC.
• Manage surplus funds and approved investments.
• Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts of up to 6 months.
• Manage foreign exchange matters where applicable.

2. Credit Control

• Monitor sales and trade debt collections.
• Ensure branches comply with credit control policies and payment terms.
• Follow up on legal actions for recovery of long-outstanding and delinquent debts.
• Coordinate corporate-level legal actions for debt recovery.

3. Financial Reporting & Budgeting

• Oversee Group consolidated accounts and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare quarterly financial reports for Bursa Malaysia.
• Prepare, monitor and analyse the Group's annual budget and highlight variances.
• Provide constructive financial analysis and reporting to Management.

4. Accounting & Taxation

• Oversee monthly closing of management accounts within deadlines.
• Ensure proper recording and classification of accounting transactions.
• Plan and monitor Group tax matters and maximise available tax benefits.
• Review and improve internal control systems.
• Oversee daily Finance operations to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure compliance with the latest accounting standards and regulations.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors on statutory and operational audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, MIA or equivalent would be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in Finance/Accounting, preferably with exposure to Group Finance, treasury and credit control.
• Strong knowledge of cash flow management, financial reporting, budgeting and accounting operations.
• Hands‑on experience in managing banking facilities, including BG, BA, LC and other financing arrangements.
