Job summary

Vistra in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable professional for a full-time, permanent role based in Bangsar South and Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru. You will manage invoicing, billing accuracy, and collections to support regional finance operations.

Reporting to Senior Manager, Regional Finance, you will maintain billing records, assist with month-end close, and collaborate with cross-border teams. Fresh grads are welcome; hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Recognized Degree / Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 1-3 years of experience in accounting/finance.
• Fresh grads encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience in handling accounts receivable is an advantage.
• Experience in shared services and handling companies in various jurisdictions is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and issue accurate invoices to customers based on services or products provided, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile billing discrepancies by reviewing accounts, identifying errors, and applying necessary adjustments.
• Maintain and update customer billing records, tracking charges, payments, and adjustments.
• Monitor incoming payments, ensure they are applied correctly to accounts, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Assist with audit and month end closing activities.
• Any other ad-hoc duties.

Job description

About you

Meticulous attention to fine detail and able to work to tight deadlines and multi-tasking.

Independent and self-motivated.

Ability to organise and prioritize work with minimum supervision.

Strong team player.

Prior experience in handling account receivable is a great advantage.

Experience in the shared services and in handling companies in various jurisdictions is an advantage.

Recognized Degree / Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
