Job summary

UPV ASSET MANAGEMENT SDN. BHD. is seeking an Accounts Payable Executive in Kuala Lumpur to manage invoices, payments, and expense claims with accuracy and timeliness.

You will record transactions in SQL Accounting, assist month-end close, and support budgeting and audit preparations.

Diploma/degree in accounting with 1–2 years AP experience and Mandarin proficiency are preferred; probation period applies with medical claim and bonus benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1–2 years AP experience preferred.
• Mandarin reading & writing abilities.
• Detail-oriented and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly payment schedules and ensure timely payments.
• Record transactions and journal entries in SQL Accounting System.
• Monitor company expenses and ensure proper budget control.
• Assist in preparing monthly budget plan and expense tracking.
• Support bank reconciliation and cash flow planning.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing system.
• Assist in month-end closing and audit preparation.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as required by supervisor.

The Accounts Payable Executive is responsible for managing the company's accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, supplier payments, expense claims, and financial transactions. The role supports daily finance operations, maintains proper accounting records, and ensures compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly payment schedules and ensure timely payments
• Record transactions and journal entries in SQL Accounting System
• Monitor company expenses and ensure proper budget control
• Assist in preparing monthly budget plan & expense tracking
• Support bank reconciliation and cash flow planning
• Maintain proper documentation and filing system

About you

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 1–2 years AP experience preferred
• Knowledge of SQL Accounting System is required
• Mandarin speaker (able to read & write)
