Job summary

HSBC is seeking an Associate, Account Manager within Securities Services in Kuala Lumpur. You will support management of prestigious institutional clients, focusing on delivering a high-value service proposition and long-term client growth.

You will work with Client Executives, Client Service Management and Operations to maintain satisfaction, retention and reference-able client relationships, leveraging data and digital tools to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Securities Services, client management, business implementation/change, or senior operational leadership.
• Client facing with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Track record in maintaining and retaining client relationships across securities services products.
• Understanding of core commercial and contractual drivers and business performance.

Responsibilities

• Client retention: Work with Client Executives, Client Service Management, Product and Operations to ensure high client satisfaction.
• Create and maintain detailed client plans mapping organisational structure and key contacts.
• Proactive management of non-operational queries, issues and escalations across products and jurisdictions.
• Conduct and manage service reviews and support ongoing client due diligence of HSBC.
• Manage commercial operations including fee schedules, aged debtor management, and SLAs.
• Build strong client relationships with internal stakeholders across departments.
• Articulate Product roadmap to clients and input feedback for future developments.
• Promote adoption of digital tools and co-service model with clients.
