Job summary

BANNERSHOP invites an Account Manager in Malaysia to drive growth by nurturing existing clients and actively pursuing new business. You will be the bridge between clients and production, ensuring satisfaction and project success. The role requires strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills, with a track record of meeting sales targets.

Fluency in Chinese and English is essential. Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will join a fast-paced printing and design team with opportunities

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales, business development, or account management role.
• Fluent in Chinese and English.
• Experience in printing, advertising or related industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities; prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships and understand their needs.
• Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve targets.
• Collaborate with production, design, and customer service teams to ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare reports on sales activities, performance metrics, and forecasts for management.

The Role

This is a sales-focused position where you will be the key driver of business growth. You will inherit and grow a portfolio of existing client relationships while actively hunting for new business opportunities. You will act as the bridge between our clients and our production team, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities; prepare sales proposals, quotations, and presentations for clients. You will have a balanced mix of 'farmer' and 'hunter' responsibilities.


• Client Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored printing solutions.


• Strategic Growth: Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve company targets.


• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (production, design, customer service) to ensure client satisfaction and project success.


• Reporting: Prepare reports on sales activities, performance metrics, and sales forecasts for management.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales, business development, or account management role, preferably within the printing, advertising, or related industry.


• Mindset: A results-driven \"sales driver\" mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.


• Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM software is an added advantage.


• Language: Fluent in Chinese and English is essential.
