Job summary

SHINING 3D is seeking a dynamic sales professional in Malaysia to manage key accounts and expand sales channels. You will demonstrate product capabilities at customer sites, assess installation needs, and leverage CAD data and GD&T knowledge during customer evaluations.

The role requires travel up to 40% and collaboration with engineering and marketing teams. Ideal candidates have a track record in capital equipment sales and familiarity with 3D scanning or industrial measurement products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field or combination of education and work experience.
• Ability to work independently and travel up to 40%.
• Minimum 3 years in capital equipment or industrial sales with a proven track record.
• Familiarity with 3D scanning products or industrial measurement.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing Key Accounts and expand new sales channels.
• Generate sales revenue by performing product demonstrations at customer sites.
• Evaluate customer requirements including installation location, mounting, CAD data, GD&T, and inspection plans.
• Develop expertise in SHINING 3D hardware/software for events and customer engagements.
• Identify new sales opportunities beyond traditional channels and coordinate with internal teams.
• Act as technical point of contact during customer evaluation periods.

Job description

• Ensure effective follow‑up on business opportunities; manage existing Key Accounts; expand new sales channels.
• Generate sales revenue by performing product demonstrations at customer sites.
• Evaluate customer requirements - installation location, mounting, engineering drawings, CAD data, GD&T, and inspection plans.
• Develop expert knowledge of SHINING 3D hardware/software to demonstrate products at trade shows, engineering associations, etc.
• Identify additional sales opportunities beyond traditional channels.
• Leverage internal resources (Sales Management, Inside Sales, Applications Engineers, Marketing) to advance and close sales.
• Act as technical point of contact during customer evaluation periods.
• Communicate customer‑requested hardware/software changes to Applications Engineers and R&D.

Job Requirements

• Prefer a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in the areas of metrology, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, surveying or quality control.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willing to travel (up to 40%).
• Min 3 yrs. proven and successful track record in sales of Capital Equipment/Industrial Sales.
