Job summary

FARM PRICE SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee day-to-day operations and drive financial reporting in line with MFRS. You will mentor staff and deliver actionable insights to support strategic decisions, while guiding month-end and year-end closings.

• Support group consolidation, internal reporting, and audits.
• Mentor accounting staff.

Job description

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. Supervise and mentor accounting staff while providing actionable financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and month-end / year-end closing

Manage accounts receivable (AR) aging and sales collection

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and Group reporting requirements

Deliver timely management reports and financial analysis

Support Group consolidation, internal reporting, and audit requirements

Handle ad-hoc finance matters as required

Supervise and mentor accounting staff

Provide actionable financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making

About you

Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance, or related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounts including related management roles

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Strong communication and negotiation abilities
