Job summary

YAJU SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage the full spectrum of financial activities. You will handle accounts receivable and payable, prepare financial reports, and coordinate budgets and internal controls.

The ideal candidate has 2–5+ years of relevant experience with JMB or similar entities, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; Chinese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting or related professional qualification.
• 2-5 years and above in handling Management Corporation / Joint Management Body (JMB) accounts.
• Strong in analyzing accounts, knowledge in closing accounts, prepare budget and monitor expenses.
• Knowledge in using UBS, CSS, MYOB, Advelsoft is an added advantage.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Chinese an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly collection report to higher management.

This role involves managing the full spectrum of financial and accounting activities on a day-to-day basis, with responsibility for clients' account management, accounts receivable and payable, and preparation of financial reports.

Key responsibilities

Prepare weekly collection report to higher management

Manage the full spectrum of financial and accounting activities on a day-to-day basis

Assist and coordinate the preparation of budgets

Clients' account management – invoicing, payment follow up, credit control, monitor aging

Manage clients' account receivables and accounts payables

Prepare and review clients' full set of accounts, management account and variance analysis reporting

Coordinate with relevant parties on all matters in relation to audit and taxation purposes

Formulate, review and implement internal controls and operating procedures

Ensure all financial accounting and functions adhere to company's policies and financial controls, statutory and regulatory requirement reports

Ensure timely closing and submission of financial reports

About you

Degree/Diploma in Accounting or related professional qualification
