Job summary

Country Garden Pacificview Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Account & Finance Manager to join our finance team in Tampoi, Johor. This full-time role oversees accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance to standards.

You will lead a small finance team, ensure accurate month-end close, manage tax compliance, and provide insights to senior management to support strategic decisions. Proven track record in IFRS/MFRS, strong Excel and ERP skills (SAP/Oracle), and 5–7 years of relevant

• 5–7 years of accounting/financial reporting experience
• Strong knowledge of MFRS or IFRS
• Experience with month-end close and financial statements
• Solid tax compliance knowledge in Malaysia

About the role

Country Garden Pacificview Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Account & Finance Manager to join our finance team. This is a full‑time position based in Tampoi, Johor. As Account & Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our organisation, overseeing accounting functions, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This position is integral to supporting our business objectives and providing accurate financial insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions

Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Develop and maintain financial reporting systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets, and other financial records on a regular basis

Monitor and analyse financial transactions, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions

Manage tax compliance and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as required

Oversee the month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including journal entries and financial reconciliations

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management review and decision‑making

Lead and supervise finance team members, providing guidance and support for their professional development

Implement internal controls and maintain documentation in accordance with company policies and best practices

What we’re looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent is highly desirable

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role within a corporate or real estate development environment

Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, MFRS or IFRS standards, and accounting software systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software packages (SAP, Oracle or similar systems preferred)

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail

Experience in preparing financial statements and managing financial close processes

Sound understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements in Malaysia

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams

Demonstrated leadership capability and experience supervising accounting staff

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
