Job summary

Farm Fresh Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the monthly close of the full set of accounts, prepare financial information for management, and supervise the finance team.

You will handle bank reconciliations, group consolidation, weekly cash flow projections, and liaise with bankers, tax agents, and auditors while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a related field.
• Strong numeracy with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with confidentiality.
• ERP experience and standard cost accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Closing of monthly full set accounts, prepare journal entries, bank reconciliation and other schedules.
• Prepare group consolidation schedules and reports.
• Monthly financial analysis review and presentation to management.
• Weekly cashflow projection and management.
• Review data entries, supplier invoices and scheduled payments.
• Check stocktake reports, variance reports and stock adjustments.
• Monitor AP and AR aging.
• Prepare and submit related authority reports.
• Supervise and assist the team in daily operations.
• Liaise with bankers, tax agents and auditors.

Job description

The Finance Manager is responsible for closing of monthly full set accounts, preparing financial information and reports to management, supervising the team, and assisting in administrative and financial tasks.

Key responsibilities

Closing of monthly full set accounts, prepare journal entries, bank reconciliation and other schedules

Prepare group consolidation schedules and reports

Monthly financial analysis review and presentation to the management

Weekly cashflow projection and management

Review data entries, supplier invoices and scheduled payments

Check stocktake report, variance report and enquire any stock adjustment

Monitor AP and AR aging

Prepare and submit related authority reports

Supervise and assist the team in daily operation matter

Liaise with bankers, tax agent, auditors

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

At least 5-7 year(s) of working experience in related field

Strong numeracy, with a high level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail

Ability to prioritise and complete tasks to meet tight deadlines

Good interpersonal and communication skills and capable of maintaining confidentiality

Preferably experienced in ERP and standard cost accounting

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
