Job summary

Perodua Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is looking for a Finance/Accounts professional to manage payments to suppliers and service providers for new business initiatives such as car rental, auto saloon, and car sharing.

You will handle receivables, monthly closings, and detailed financial analyses for multiple projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The role requires strong Excel skills, analytical ability, and effective communication with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office is essential.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities are important.
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all types of payment processing to suppliers, service providers, and agents for new business initiatives (e.g., car rental, auto saloon, car sharing).
• Manage and monitor accounts receivable – collections and aging for new business initiatives projects.
• Handle monthly closing including preparing financial statements and analysis for all projects; ensure records are accurate and timely.
• Monitor project revenue, expenses and budget utilization for new initiatives.
• Prepare and perform reconciliations – bank, creditor, debtor, asset including accruals and provisions.
• Assist in budget planning, forecasting and business evaluation analysis.
• Coordinate with internal departments, universities and business partners on financial matters.
• Support internal & external audits and ensure compliance with policies.
• Involve in system development/enhancement related to project operations and financial matters.
• Provide financial and administrative support for project commercialization and day-to-day operations.
• Ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements
