The Account/Finance Executive is responsible for supporting the finance department in managing accounting operations, financial reporting, and day-to-day financial transactions. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of financial information to support business operations.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
Record journal entries, manage ledgers, and reconcile accounts.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and management summaries.
Provide data analysis to support decision‑making and financial planning.
Monitor budget vs actual expenses and report variances.
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and timely.
Follow up on outstanding payments and manage collections.
Liaise with vendors and internal teams regarding payment issues.
4. Compliance & Audit Support:
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, EPF, SOCSO, and other statutory requirements.
Prepare documentation and assist auditors during internal and external audits.
Maintain financial policies and procedures in accordance with company standards.
5. Administrative Support:
Assist finance manager in daily finance operations and ad‑hoc financial tasks.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related fields.
Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is an advantage.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Good knowledge of taxation and relevant tax requirements.
Hands‑on experience and proficiency in using UBS Accounting Software is required.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with stakeholders based in China and Taiwan, including in their local languages where required.
