Job summary

Optimum Infosolutions (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable RTR professional to manage end‑to‑end record-to-report processes in a dynamic IT services environment.

The role covers general ledger, intercompany, fixed assets and cash management with responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual closings, journal postings, reconciliations, and audit support.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on RTR experience and strong knowledge of GL, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) demonstrated in previous roles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all RTR operations.
• Prepare and post journal entries across General Ledger, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Perform daily reconciliation between payment gateway and bank statements.
• Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and post intercompany billing entries and settlement and netting reports.
• Record acquisitions, disposals, and transfers of fixed assets in accordance with company policy.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and review cash transactions.
• Perform reconciliations of GL, Intercompany, Fixed Asset, and Cash accounts.
• Participate in and drive continuous process improvement and standardization initiatives.

This role focuses on Record-to-Report (RTR) operations, encompassing General Ledger, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management functions. You will ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all RTR operations, manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, and provide audit support as required.

Key responsibilities

Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all RTR operations

Prepare and post journal entries across General Ledger, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes

Perform daily reconciliation between payment gateway and bank statements

Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts

Prepare and post intercompany billing entries and settlement and netting reports

About you

Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA)

Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in RTR (GL, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, or Cash Management)

Strong knowledge of RTR processes with hands‑on accounting experience

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)

Strong technical accounting and reconciliation skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (written and spoken)
