Job summary

Cari in Malaysia is seeking an accounts/finance professional to manage full sets of accounts with minimal supervision. You will perform bank reconciliations, maintain journals, and liaise with auditors and authorities. Mandarin fluency is required for reporting and stakeholder communication.

The role offers an 8am–5pm schedule, Monday to Friday, with a salary from RM2,500 depending on experience. Diploma/degree in Accounting or Finance and 2–3 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant working experience.
• Mandarin proficiency for reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Knowledge of SQL or accounting systems preferred.
• Detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines and work independently.

Responsibilities

• To handle full sets of accounts under minimum supervision.
• Perform bank reconciliation and proper journal entries.
• Handle HR functions such as payroll and statutory contributions.
• Prepare monthly financial and cash flow reports as required.
• Ensure proper filing of accounting documents and liaise with auditors.

Job Description

Working Days & Hours:

• Working Hours:From 8am to 5pm
• Work Days:Monday to Friday only

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience.
• Preference will be given to candidates with relevant property and construction accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required for regular financial reporting and communication with key stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SQL or similar accounting systems is preferred.
• Detail-oriented, responsible & able to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to speak Mandarin

Job Scopes:

• To handle full sets of accounts under minimum supervision.
• Perform bank reconciliation, maintain the accounting system with correct recording of journal entries.
• Handling HR function such as payroll, EPF, SOCSO, PCB and etc.
• Prepare monthly financial report and cash flow report and other related report as and when required.
• To ensure proper filing of accounting documents.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, government authorities and bankers.
• Able to liaise with external parties whenever required and take on ad-hoc assignments.
