Job summary

WEZMART INTERNATIONAL BERHAD is seeking a Junior Account Executive to handle full sets of accounts, review bookkeeping by junior team, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

You will perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring proper accounting treatment in line with Malaysian standards. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with opportunities for career progression and an attractive remuneration package.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience is preferred.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and Malaysian regulations.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts for companies.
• Review bookkeeping prepared by junior team members.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Prepare schedules for audit and tax purposes.
• Perform daily bookkeeping and data entry accurately.
• Record accounting transactions in the accounting system.
• Process sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
• Organize digital and physical files systematically.
• Assist in preparing full sets of accounts.
• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Prepare schedules for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing.
