Job summary

PERSOL Malaysia is seeking an Account Executive (Junior/Senior) to manage full set of accounts, monthly closings and related AR/AP/GL tasks. You will prepare financial schedules and management accounts, assess provisions and accruals, and support forecasting, budgeting, cash flow and taxation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance / Accountancy or equivalent.
• Experience in managing/handling full set of accounts
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field
• Proactive and able to perform task in a team as well as independently, mature, resourceful and committed to work
• Proactive and willing to take up challenges and able to work under pressure to meet reporting deadlines.
• Good interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel
• Knowledge in UBS Software

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly account closings for full spectrum of data entry/full set of accounts and other accounting-related tasks including AR/AP/GL functions
• Prepare financial schedules and management accounts including assessment and booking of provisions/accruals
• Support the Senior Finance Manager in performing simple financial data analysis for business decision
• Assist in the data preparation for financial forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, taxation
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agent on statutory compliance matters
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
