The role covers accounting, cash flow, financial reporting, internal controls, tax planning and coordinating audits with group HQ, while guiding the finance team and liaising with auditors, banks, and authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with accounting major.
• 2–3 years of experience in finance & accounting, preferably manufacturing.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, taxation, and internal controls.
• Experience in month-end closing and management reporting.
• Proficient in Excel and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts and analyses to inform decisions.
• Oversee accounting operations, cash flow and financial reporting to HQ.
• Establish and improve internal controls, policies and risk management.
• Monitor costs and advise on optimization to improve financial performance.
• Coordinate audits and tax planning/compliance with authorities.
• Lead the Finance Department and manage stakeholders across auditors, banks and HQ.
• Perform other ad-hoc finance tasks as needed by management.

1. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Management Analysis

Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and financial analysis. Provide management with insights and recommendations to support business decisions and effective cost control.

2. Accounting, Cash Flow & Financial Reporting

Oversee the company's accounting operations, cash flow, and financial controls. Review local financial statements and ensure accurate and timely reporting to Group Headquarters.

3. Internal Controls, Policies & Risk Management

Establish, implement, and continuously improve financial policies, procedures, and internal control systems. Identify financial and operational risks and implement appropriate measures to mitigate them.

4. Cost Management & Business Support

Monitor and analyze company costs, identify opportunities for cost optimization, and provide financial recommendations to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.

5. Audit, Tax & Statutory Compliance

Coordinate annual audits and oversee tax planning and related statutory matters. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and other financial requirements.

6. Finance Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Lead and supervise the Finance Department, ensuring effective execution of financial activities and development of the team. Maintain effective communication and working relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, government authorities, Group Headquarters, and other external stakeholders.

7. Other Responsibilities & Workplace Safety

Perform other ad-hoc, finance-related, or business support duties and responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager or other authorized superior from time to time

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, with Accounting as the major/specialisation.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, taxation, and internal controls.
• Experience in month-end closing, financial reporting, account reconciliation, and management reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting/ERP systems such as SAP.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate with local and international stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
• Responsible, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with different departments.
• Proactive, willing to learn, and demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset
