Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as a bookkeeper or account executive in a small to medium practice.
• Proficient in SQL-based accounting software and MS Excel.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and financial record-keeping.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling client data.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts concurrently.
• Professional communication with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently within a team.
• Experience with Malaysian accounting practices and tax compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records for assigned client accounts.
• Process invoices, expenses and payables for clients, ensuring proper documentation.
• Provide timely and professional accounting support to clients, responding to queries and resolving issues efficiently.
• Maintain organised and up-to-date client files and accounting records in accordance with company procedures and regulations.
• Liaise with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation for accurate record-keeping.
• Support the preparation of tax returns and other compliance documentation as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the efficiency of the accounting function
