Position: Account Executive / Account Assistant
Salary Range: RM2,500 – RM3,500 (Negotiable)
Experience: Preferably 2–3 years of relevant working experience
Manage daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) functions.
Prepare, process, and maintain invoices, payments, and related financial transactions accurately and on time.
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper maintenance of accounting records.
Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for management review.
Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on collections as required.
Verify staff claims, supplier invoices, and payment requests.
Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant government authorities when necessary.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
Maintain organized filing systems and proper documentation of financial records.
Provide support for ad-hoc finance, accounting, and administrative duties assigned by management.
Effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic work environment.
Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or an equivalent qualification.
Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply; fresh graduates with a strong willingness to learn are also welcome.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and accounting software.
Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Strong attention to detail, good interpersonal skills, and a positive working attitude.
Willingness to travel when required.
