Job summary

Henikwon Corporation Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Account Executive to support daily accounting operations within our Finance & Accounts team in a manufacturing setting. You will handle AP/AR, GRN checks, invoicing, and reconciliations while ensuring accurate records.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting, with 1–3 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates may apply for Junior role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience for Account Executive.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with relevant internship experience are welcome for Junior Account Executive.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
• Experience using SQL Accounting Software is preferred.
• Familiarity with GRN, Purchase Order (PO), supplier invoices and inventory transactions is an advantage.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Perform Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Check and verify Goods Received Notes (GRN) against supplier invoices, purchase orders and supporting documents.
• Ensure GRN, PO and supplier invoice details are properly matched before processing invoices for payment.
• Follow up on discrepancies involving GRN, PO, quantity, pricing and supplier invoices with the relevant departments.
• Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, credit notes, debit notes and other accounting documents.
• Process supplier invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Issue customer invoices and monitor outstanding receivables.
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Maintain proper records for purchases, sales, expenses and other accounting transactions.

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented and motivated Account Executive to join our Finance & Accounts team. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, processing supplier and customer transactions, and supporting the Finance team in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.

Perform Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
