Job summary

Hittech Wemac Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an enthusiastic finance professional to support daily accounting, reporting and controls.

You will assist in budgeting, month-end close, bank reconciliations, debtor aging, and coordination with auditors, while ensuring timely, accurate financial records and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full set of financial accounting and management reporting.
• Prepare annual budget and ad-hoc assignments.
• Perform monthly reconciliations including bank and accounts receivable.
• Prepare debtor aging reports and statements.
• Assist in year-end audit and statutory tax filing.
• Support internal controls and system enhancements.

Job description

Assist in maintaining full set of financial accounting and management reporting.

Assist in preparing annual budget and ad-hoc assignment by the company’s accounting and finance activities as necessary.

Responsible to prepare accurate and timely monthly accounting reconciliations including bank reconciliations, AR and AR reconciliations.

Ensure proper maintenance of documentation and filing to support all accounting entries.

Perform day to day financial accounting operations.

Liaise with customers in the relevant matter and prepare debtor aging report & debtor monthly statement.

Prepare the report and assisting on the cash reimbursement on monthly basis. Issue payment voucher / petty cash voucher / official receipts and staff claims.

Liaise with vendor and operation team on any issue in urgent basis.

Assist in fixed asset register and stock maintenance.

Issuance of DN & CN.

Seek advice and escalates issues when faced with tasks/problems outside normal scope of job.

Improve and enhance current reporting process.

Assist to monitor debtors aging reports and prompt collection and payment to monthly financial obligation.

Assist to perform key expenses analysis and highlight areas of abnormal expenses to the superior

Assist to coordinate the year end Auditing and stock take audit.

Support other annual activities such as statutory audit, corporate income tax filling, annual budget and internal projects.

Assist in accounting system enhancement Highlight any issues pertaining to the company internal controls system to the superior.

Implement job rotation and training.

Execute other tasks assigned by the superior or management

Scheduling of delivery by Planning department working closely with our customer and Production team to meet expected OTD (on time delivery). Deliveries from Penang Batu Kawan to Bayan Lepas takes less than 20 minutes.

Quality Management with an in-house dedicated QA-QC team to perform incoming and outgoing inspection. In process quality control is build-in all our processes. We are also an ISO 9001:2015 certified organization.
