Job summary

LEMANDI BATH & LIGHT SDN. BHD. is seeking an Accounts Executive / Senior Accounts Executive to lead and oversee the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations in our Kuala Lumpur-based setup.

The role requires hands-on management of data entry, invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting within a fast-growing retail environment. Ideal candidates hold an accounting degree or ACCA/CIMA/CPA qualifications, with 5+ years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of Malaysian standards and

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or professional qualifications in ACCA, CIMA, CPA.
• At least 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in retail.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry and maintain accurate bookkeeping including receivable functions, GL and bank reconciliations.
• Process invoices, sales commissions, client refunds and other financial transactions.
• Assist in monitoring outstanding receivables and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
• Support fixed asset records updates and basic tracking.
• Assist shipment documents with forwarders for products import.
• Generate and analyse inventory reports and identify slow-moving inventories.
• Assist during audits by preparing supporting documents and schedules.
• Oversee full set of accounts and ensure timely month-end closing.
• Prepare and review Management Reports, Sales Reports, and Financial Statements for Management.
• Review Balance Sheet schedules and all Journal Entries for accuracy and completeness.

We are a fast-growing company based in Kuala Lumpur, specializing in the import and retail of sanitary ware and bathroom solutions, including toilet bowls, basin cabinets, rain showers, and lighting products. With our warehouse and showroom operations expanding, we are seeking a highly responsible and hands-on Accounts Executive / Senior Accounts Executive to lead and oversee the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations.

Key responsibilities

Perform data entry and maintain accurate bookkeeping functions, including receivable functions, general ledger and bank reconciliations

Process invoices, sales commission, client refunds and other financial transactions

Assist in monitoring outstanding receivables and coordinating with internal stakeholders

Support fixed asset record updates and basic tracking

Assist shipment documents with forwarders for products import

Generate, analyse inventory reports and identify slow-moving inventories

Assist during audits by preparing supporting documents and schedules

Oversee full set of accounts and ensure timely month-end closing

Prepare and review Management Reports, Sales Reports, and Financial Statements before submission to Management

About you

Degree in Accountancy or professional qualifications in ACCA, CIMA, CPA

At least 5 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role, preferably in the retail industry

Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Autocount)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Flexible and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
