Job summary

Classic Palm Oil Mill is seeking an experienced accountant to manage the full set of accounts and ensure timely financial reporting. You will prepare vouchers, process journals, and maintain the accounting system while ensuring SST and e-Invoicing compliance.

The role requires at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and 3 years of relevant experience, with AutoCount experience a plus. The candidate should be detail-oriented, able to work in a team, and capable of meeting deadlines in

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Degree, Diploma, or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
  • Knowledge and experience in using AutoCount Accounting Software will be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with SST and e-Invoicing requirements will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Handle the full set of accounts and ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial records and reports.
  • Prepare and process payment vouchers, debit notes, credit notes, journal vouchers, and other accounting documents.
  • Perform daily accounting operations and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Ensure accounting transactions are properly entered and maintained in the computerized accounting system.
  • Prepare, monitor, and ensure timely submission of SST and e-Invoicing requirements in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
  • Liaise with internal team members to ensure proper recording and timely submission of financial information and supporting documents.
  • Assist in audit, tax, and other financial-related matters when required.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties and assignments as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Job requirement

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Degree, Diploma, or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.

Knowledge and experience in using AutoCount Accounting Software will be an added advantage.

Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Familiarity with SST and e-Invoicing requirements will be an advantage.

Positive working attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Able to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.

Required languages: English, and Bahasa Malaysia
