Job summary

Felton Management Sdn Bhd in Malaysia invites a dedicated accounting professional to join the Malaysia-based team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining client communications, preparing full sets of accounts, unaudited financial statements, and XBRL.

Requirements include a Finance/Accountancy degree, strong attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work independently. English and Mandarin fluency is preferred for Mandarin-speaking clients.

Qualifications

• Degree/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• Diligent with strong eye for detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Able to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent English; Mandarin-speaking candidates preferred for Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain communications with the client.
• Exposure to current SSAs, FRSs, Tax developments.
• Preparation of client's full set of accounts.
• Preparation of Unaudited Financial Statements and XBRL.
• Acting as a primary point of communication, providing sharp analysis on financial issues.
• Ensure timely recording of accounting transactions and monthly closing timelines.
• Assist client in the quarterly GST preparation and submission.

Developing and maintaining communications with the client

Exposure to current SSAs, FRSs, Tax developments

Responsible for preparation of client's full set of accounts

Preparation of Unaudited Financial Statement and XBRL

Acting as a primary point of communication, providing sharp analysis on financial issues

Ensure timely recording of accounting transactions and meeting monthly closing timeline given by the client

Assist client in the quarterly GST preparation and submission

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Degree/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.

Diligent and has an eye for details

Possess good communication and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated

Able to work independently

Impeccable organizational and time management skills

Able to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Required language(s): English and Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers.

Preferably Entry Level specialized in Finance - Audit/Taxation or equivalent.
