Job summary

Ideal Capital Venture Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia is hiring an experienced Accounts Executive to maintain financial records, prepare monthly accounts, budgets, forecasts and cash flow. You will review management accounts and tax computations, and manage tax planning while liaising with auditors, bankers and tax agents.

The role also requires staying current with accounting regulations, mentoring the team, and supporting due diligence and feasibility studies for growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in property development or similar industry.
• Proficiency with UBS Accounting System, IFCA System Software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and ability to handle secretarial work and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for operations, monthly accounts, budget, forecast and cash flow.
• Review management accounts and prepare tax computations; manage tax planning for the company.
• Liaise with tax agents, external and internal auditors, bankers and other external parties.
• Keep updated on accounting regulations, best practices and industry trends for company improvements.
• Mentor and support the team to enhance accounting dept capabilities, including due diligence and feasibility studies.

About the role

Ideal Capital Venture Sdn Bhd, a prominent homegrown property developer who position ourselves as legacy creator with a diverse portfolio of on-going projects in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to join our team.

What you'll be doing

• 1. To maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for operations, preparation of monthly accounts, budget, forecast & cash flow.
• 2. To responsible for reviewing the management accounts and preparation of tax computation and manage the tax planning of the company.
• 3. To liaising with tax agents, external & internal auditors as well as external parties such as bankers, financial providers.
• 4. To continuously updating your knowledge of accounting regulations, best practices, and industry trends for company’s improvement.
• 5. To mentoring and supporting the team members to enhance the overall capabilities of the accounting department including fund raising, acquisition of companies, conducting due diligence and feasibilities studies.

What we're looking for

• 1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting role in the property development or similar industry
• 3. Strong proficiency in using accounting software such as UBS Accounting System, IFCA System Software and Microsoft Applications.
• 4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• 5. Exceptional communication and be able to handle secretarial work and familiar with statutory requirements
