FILEFORCE SDN. BHD. in Rawang, Selangor, is hiring an Account Assistant to support our accounting team.

This full-time role focuses on accurate data entry and day-to-day financial tasks to keep records in good order. You will process transactions, prepare invoices and purchase orders, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end close while upholding confidentiality and accuracy. The ideal candidate has basic accounting knowledge and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a secondary school qualification or relevant accounting diploma or certification.
• Proficiency in basic accounting principles and practices for accounts clerk/assistant roles.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
• Good time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Experience with accounts receivable or accounts payable preferred.
• Willingness to learn and develop accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Processing and recording financial transactions in the accounting system with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Preparing and reconciling accounts, including bank reconciliations and general ledger accounts.
• Assisting with the preparation of invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documentation.
• Supporting the maintenance and organisation of financial records and documentation.
• Performing data entry tasks and ensuring timely, correct records.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures as directed.
• Supporting the senior accounting staff with administrative tasks and projects.
• Responding to routine financial enquiries and providing information as requested.
• Ensuring compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
• Assisting with filing and archiving of financial documents as per standards.
