Mister Coffee in Muar, Johor is seeking an Account Assistant to join our growing team. This full-time role supports daily financial transactions, records management, and accounting processes to uphold financial integrity and provide timely information to management.

You will handle various tasks including invoicing, bank reconciliations, payroll, and document filing, while ensuring accuracy and adherence to Malaysian accounting practices.

Qualifications

• Need secondary education or accounting qualification (SPM, diploma, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail with high accuracy in financial records.
• Understanding of basic bookkeeping principles and general accounting practices.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process and record daily financial transactions (invoices, receipts, payments).
• Maintain and update accounting records and ledgers per company policy.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Process payroll information and ensure accuracy of employee records.
• File and organize financial documents methodically.
• Support senior accounting team with ad-hoc financial tasks and queries.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
