Job summary

TL ASIA ALLIANCE AGENCY in Johor Bahru region is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Accountant for a full-time role at our office in Taman Johor Jaya, Johor. The role involves managing financial records for diverse clients, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting in line with standards.

You will work within a supportive team, handle ledgers, payroll, and tax-related tasks, and contribute to timely financial insights for client health and compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software packages and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with high accuracy.
• Good communication and ability to work with clients and team members.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and updating general ledgers and financial records for multiple clients.
• Reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
• Recording financial transactions including invoices, expenses, and payments in accounting software.
• Preparing trial balances and assisting in the preparation of financial statements.
• Processing payroll records and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Assisting with tax preparation and timely submission of tax documents.
• Maintaining accurate filing systems for financial documents and records.
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial records.
• Supporting preparation of management reports and financial analysis.
• Liaising with clients to obtain necessary financial information and clarifications.
