Jora Malaysia is looking for a responsibleAccount Assistant to support the Finance & Accounting Department in Kulai, Johor. You will manage daily AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations and journal entries, ensuring accurate records in AutoCount or SAP.

We are a manufacturing company specialising in electronic components and precision parts, including metal stamping, plastic molding, cage, assembly and washing processes. We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Account Assistant to support our Finance & Accounting Department.
Responsibilities
Process daily AP, AR, invoices, payments, receipts, journal entries and related documents.
Maintain accurate records in AutoCount, SAP or other ERP systems; perform bank, supplier and customer reconciliations.
Monitor outstanding balances and support monthly schedules, reports and month-end/year-end closing.
Assist with production costing for raw materials, labour, machinery and manufacturing processes.
Support inventory accounting, stock takes and reconciliation of raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
Verify POs, GRNs, delivery documents and invoices; investigate discrepancies.
Support e-Invoice/MyInvois processing, audit and tax documentation, LHDN and statutory requirements.
Work with Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, QA and Sales, and provide information to the Finance Manager/Accountant, auditors and tax agents.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing.
Knowledge of AP, AR, invoicing, payments, reconciliations, general accounting, manufacturing costing and inventory control.
AutoCount, SAP/ERP and Malaysian e-Invoice/MyInvois experience is an advantage.
Strong Excel skills, including formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, sorting, filtering and basic data analysis.
Fluent in written and spoken Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Good communication, numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills; ISO/IATF experience is an advantage.
