We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Administrator to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling daily accounting and administrative activities, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with audit matters, and supporting the Finance Manager/Accountant in ensuring smooth financial operations.
- Handle daily accounting and administrative duties.
- Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
- Record and maintain accurate accounting entries and financial records.
- Perform bank, supplier, customer, and other account reconciliations.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Check and process staff claims, expenses, and supporting documents.
- Assist with monthly and yearly financial closing activities.
- Handle and coordinate audit matters, including preparing audit schedules and supporting documents and responding to auditors' queries.
- Liaise with external auditors and provide the necessary accounting records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents and records.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and management schedules.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, auditors, and internal departments on accounting-related matters.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
- Experience in handling audit matters is an advantage.
- Familiar with accounting software such as SQL Account, AutoCount, APLUS, UBS, Xero, or QuickBooks.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Good attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
