Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks an experienced HV electrical professional to support data center operations. You will manage 33kV systems, ensure a safe and compliant power supply, and coordinate with site teams and vendors.

The role requires hands-on experience with high voltage equipment, strict safety practices, and a valid ST BO-Chargeman credential, with responsibilities spanning monitoring, fault response, and regulatory documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in high-voltage electrical operations and maintenance.
• At least 3 years with 33kV systems, switchgear, transformers, or HV switching.
• Experience operating, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting distribution systems.
• Familiarity with electrical safety procedures, switching protocols, LOTO, and permit-to-work requirements.
• Valid ST BO-Chargeman competency certificate with appropriate authorization.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain 33kV electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable power supply.
• Monitor electrical infrastructure performance, attend to alarms, faults, switching activities, and first-level troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with the MEP Site Leader, shift team, and vendors to support planned maintenance, incident response, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain electrical logs, inspection records, and compliance documentation per site standards.
• Respond to electrical faults, power interruptions, alarms, and emergencies.
