Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced electrical professional to support data center operations, focusing on 33kV systems and high-voltage distribution. The role involves monitoring, switching, troubleshooting, and coordinating with site leaders and vendors to ensure safe power supply.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HV electrical ops and a ST BO-Chargeman certificate, with preference for data center or critical infrastructure exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in high-voltage electrical operations, maintenance, or power distribution systems.
• At least 3 years hands-on experience with 33kV systems, substations, switchgear, transformers, or HV switching operations.
• Experience operating, monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical distribution systems.
• Familiarity with electrical safety procedures, switching protocols, isolation, LOTO, and permit-to-work requirements.
• Experience responding to electrical faults, power interruptions, alarms, and emergency situations.
• Valid ST BO-Chargeman competency certificate with appropriate authorization.
• Previous experience in data centers, power plants, utilities or critical electrical infrastructure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain 33kV electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable power supply.
• Monitor electrical infrastructure performance and attend to alarms and faults.
• Conduct switching activities and first-level troubleshooting in line with site procedures.
• Coordinate with the MEP Site Leader, shift team, and vendors to support planned maintenance.
• Support incident response and statutory compliance requirements.
• Maintain electrical logs, inspection records, permit requirements, and compliance documentation.
